Kirsty Weeks: Fine Artist and Print Maker

A current ceramic’s project about protecting memories.

-The earthenware shapes act like small grottos/caves/walls to protect the ornaments.

-Relates to all my projects with this idea of collections and holding on to bits and bobs and not being able to let go. What will happen to these ornaments when were gone?

-I’m trying to find ways to make them seem harmless and come to life at the moment, like they need protection. 

-When your mum or dad give you something and tell you to take good care of it!
